How to Obtain Recognition

  • To obtain QCR, schools must provide a detailed plan for how courses are instructionally designed and delivered. This can be accomplished by completing the following application found here. This is a Microsoft Word Document that you can complete on your computer.
  • Once the application has been completed on your computer, establish an account on the QCR Course Management System by contacting our office by phone or email.
  • Once you have a username and password, login to the course management system and create a "new submission". A "submission" can be for one or more courses of the same delivery method. You will go through a wizard that will ask you a few questions about the course(s) you are seeking recognition for and you'll also make payment arrangments at the same time, payments by credit card, check, or purchase order are permitted.
  • Once you have gone through the wizard and told us a little about the course(s) you are submitting, you can then "View Submission" and upload the completed documents to our course management system. In this step, you are taking the applications that you completed on your computer, and moving them and other approrpriate documentation that may be necessary to our course management system. Here, our reviewers will enter into a collaborative effort with you to examine the course.

Timeline for Certification

Once the course provider has submitted the application with the appropriate fees, the QCR review team will make initial collaborative efforts within 30 days. If the review team requests modification or clarification concerning issues in the course it will then be up to the provider to offer a timely response to insure the process is completed quickly. On average, courses can be certified in less than 60 days.

Certification Fees

$600 per course. This simple flat rate pricing plan provides schools with an optimum way to get courses reviewed without additional membership or other scaled fees.
